What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Lewiston Tribune?
BUILDING SERVICES / FACILITIES MAINTENANCE & DELIVERY (SPOKANE)
Tribune Publishing Company is looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to handle daily building maintenance and print product delivery at our Spokane facility. This is a great opportunity for a retiree looking to supplement their income with steady part-time work. If you take pride in a clean, safe, well-organized workspace, don't mind a variety of tasks, and are comfortable behind the wheel, we'd like to talk to you.
What You'll Be Doing:
Delivery
Delivery commercial print products, 5 days per week, using a company box truck or van
Perform basic vehicle inspections (oil, fluids, tires) before each use and log on inspection checklists
Daily
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe — moving pallets, clearing debris, straps, and wrapping
Winter duty: clear snow and apply ice melt to steps, walkways, and entry doors as needed throughout your shift
Monitor and swap out the recycling bins near the entry as needed
What We're Looking For:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Comfortable driving a box truck or van on a daily delivery route
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable with physical work, some lifting, and working outdoors in all weather
Basic mechanical aptitude (forklift, overhead doors, vehicle checks)
Reliable and detail-oriented
Prior delivery, warehouse, or maintenance experience a plus but not required
Details:
Location: Spokane facility
Pay: $17.13/hour
Schedule: 28–32 hours per week – a great fit for a retiree looking to supplement retirement income
