Job Summary And Qualifications
The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies and maintains patient records according to hospital policy.
- You will communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary department and other customers
- Maintain a neat and organized work place
- Acquire and maintain correct knowledge in hospital/unit information
- You will operate computer systems as necessary
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required
- Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination
- Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred
