The first medical facility in the region to provide a radioactive seed implant procedure which is a radiation therapy alternative for treating breast and prostate cancer. Job Summary And Qualifications
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the psychiatric patient under the direction of the RN.
- Works as a member of a team toassistwith milieu management andperformsjob tasks to ensure personal,patientand departmental safety.
- Communicates professionally and effectively with staff, physicians, management, external and internal customers.Ensurestimelyandaccuratecommunication of patient information with all members of the treatment team.
- Leads or Co-Leadsthe following groups: AM goal setting, PM wrap-up and diversionary.
- Assists Charge Nurses and Shift Supervisor inmaintainingefficiency.
- Completes clerical responsibilities.
- Adheres to policies and procedures. Supports the Mission of the facility.
- Pursues and takes responsibility to enhance personal and professional growth.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Interv Inst, or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
