Job Summary and Qualifications

As a hospital housekeeper, your work is vital to the prevention of serious infections and is an efficient function in the running of the hospital. Your position as a housekeeper, plays an important role in the care of patients and healthcare providers by assuring a sterile environment in all areas of the hospital.

• You will routinely clean patient rooms, nursing units, surgical areas, administrative office, laboratory areas, waiting areas and public restrooms, as well as lauder all hospital linen
• Cleaning supplies and equipment are an essential part of this position, you will be taking daily inventory and you may be asked to inspect equipment for any repairs or replacements
• You will be responsible for following proper infection-control policies
• You will have daily interaction with patients and other healthcare personnel

Requirements:

• 1 (one) year of prior experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is preferred.
