Office Administrator/Treatment Coordinator
Premier Periodontics & Implant Practice | Washington, DC
Full-Time | Competitive Compensation Benefits
We’re Looking for a Leader
Our high-end periodontal and implant practice is looking for an experienced Office Administrator/Treatment Coordinator who can take ownership of the front office, confidently present significant treatment plans, and help bring out the best in the people around them.
This is not simply a reception position. We are looking for a positive, organized, trustworthy leader who combines excellent patient communication with strong administrative skills and a genuine ability to unite a team.
We especially value someone who is a force multiplier—a person whose presence makes the entire team more organized, effective, positive, and successful.
The Person We’re Looking For
- Has at least 1 year of dental experience; additional experience is strongly preferred
- Is confident presenting substantial periodontal and implant treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Can communicate the value of recommended treatment and help patients move forward with confidence
- Has a natural ability to build consensus and create harmony within a team
- Brings a positive attitude and a calming, unifying presence to the office
- Is comfortable with change and eager to learn new systems, technology, and ways of working
- Is highly organized and capable of taking ownership of important administrative responsibilities
- Communicates exceptionally well in person, by phone, and in writing
- Is honest, hardworking, dependable, and trustworthy
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Is looking for a long-term professional home, not simply the next job
What You’ll Own
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience from first contact through treatment
- Presenting treatment plans and financial options with confidence and professionalism
- Following up on unscheduled treatment and helping drive strong case acceptance
- Managing scheduling and maintaining a productive clinical schedule
- Coordinating referrals and communicating professionally with referring dental offices
- Overseeing insurance, patient balances, collections, and administrative follow-up
- Helping lead front-office systems and maintaining excellent organization
- Supporting and training other administrative team members
- Helping the team navigate changes in systems, technology, and office procedures
- Identifying problems, proposing solutions, and following through
