You can make an impact on the lives of thousands of students in Monument, Colorado beginning with the 2025-2026 school year as the newest full-time Social Studies teacher at Lewis-Palmer High School. You’ll join a dynamic team and become part of the award-winning Lewis-Palmer School District 38 as we prepare for another engaging school year in 2025-2026. Applicants must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado teaching license with a Social Studies endorsement or be eligible/in-field in the endorsement area. Coaching athletics and/or sponsoring student programs is also available.
The start date for teachers new to the District is August 1, 2025, and the start date for students is August 13, 2025. In order to be considered for this position, you must complete our online teacher application on or before the deadline date of April 11th. Interviews tentatively planned for the week of April 14th.
LPHS Teachers will execute the following Responsibilities:

Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 17 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 18, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,000-$71,866. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website.
