    Prairie Winds Elementary School is currently looking to fill a Principal's Secretary position for the 2026-2027 school year.
    The Secretary to the Principal position has a range of activities in an atmosphere of continual interruptions and pressure. Under the general supervision of School Principal, this position serves as office manager performing a variety of secretarial duties by communicating, planning, organizing, supervising and participating in the school office administrative operation. This position serves as a major program information resource person, acting as liaison between schools, district office, and other locations. Candidate will dispense pertinent information and direction to students, parents, staff, and visitors and establish, maintain, and insure proper use of confidential files, which may include student, personnel, and payroll records.
    This position is full time, 205 days, and is eligible for full benefits. The starting salary range for this position is $20.20 - $21.78. To apply, please complete the online application.     All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA. Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. The employees may choose from a selection of plans that include coverage additional options for individuals, employee plus spouse, employee plus children, and family plans. Paid leave is accrued in accordance with District policies and afforded to all persons in accordance with Colorado law.
