The Accounting Associate supports the day-to-day operations of the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and financial tasks. This role is responsible
for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with reporting, and supporting overall departmental efficiency.

Position Overview
The Accounting Associate supports the day-to-day operations of the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and financial tasks. This role is responsible
for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with reporting, and supporting overall departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable o Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
- Prepare and send customer invoices; post customer payments. o Reconcile account discrepancies and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Financial Recordkeeping o Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems.
- Maintain organized files and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Reconciliation & Reporting
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with preparing financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for audits.
- Support Functions o Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial information.
- Assist with budget tracking and analysis as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team and management.
- Associate degree in Accounting preferred but will consider work experience in
- 13 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage,) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
