About Lewis Line Public Relations
Lewis Line Public Relations is a boutique, full-service PR agency based in Los Angeles. We specialize in elevating bold talent and transformative brands through culturally informed media strategies, compelling storytelling, and innovative campaigns. We bridge traditional media savvy with next-generation creativity to deliver authentic, impactful results across the music, entertainment, lifestyle, fashion, and social impact sectors.
The Role
We are seeking a sharp, culture-obsessed Music PR Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is designed for a self-starter who lives at the intersection of music and media. You aren't just here to support. You are here to execute, drive results, and own key pieces of our artist media strategy.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Los Angeles, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote each week. You will work closely with agency leadership to drive coverage for independent and label artists, while being available for essential on-site event execution (red carpets, listening parties, and showcases) across the city.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Execution: Draft and distribute high-impact press releases, media alerts, and personalized pitches across release cycles.
- Proactive Pitching: Build and manage relationships with key music editors, journalists, tastemakers, and influencers.
- Events & Red Carpet: Secure and coordinate event opportunities for clients, including getting independent artists placed and credentialed on red carpets across LA.
- On-Site Management: Lead or support media check-ins and press rows for LA-based events, including music showcases and listening parties.
- Client Coordination: Assist in the day-to-day management of artist and client needs, ensuring strategy alignment and timely delivery of materials.
- Reporting: Monitor media mentions and industry trends to compile detailed monthly coverage reports that demonstrate artist growth.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of full-time professional experience in PR or communications (agency experience is preferred).
- Artist/Talent Experience: Direct experience working with artists or talent is a must, with a strong understanding of release cycles and artist PR.
- Versatility: Willingness to work on some accounts outside of music (entertainment, lifestyle, gaming, and brand work) is a BIG plus.
- LA-Based: Residing in the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation for event support.
- Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft "hooks" that stand out in a crowded inbox.
- Tools: Proficiency in PR databases (Muck Rack), Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
- Drive: A proactive "hustle" mindset with the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Why Join Lewis Line?
- Autonomy: We value your voice. You will have the opportunity to execute your own ideas and see the direct impact of your work.
- Professional Growth: As a boutique agency, we offer a clear path for career growth as our client roster expands.
- Culture: Work at the forefront of the music and entertainment industries in a collaborative, creative environment.
