We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Land Survey CAD Technician to join our dynamic surveying team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating field survey data into precise, comprehensive CAD drawings and models. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed CAD drawings from survey data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Revit software.
- Prepare topographical maps, boundary surveys, and site plans with accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with surveyors and engineers to interpret field notes and incorporate them into digital models.
- Utilize SketchUp, NavisWorks, and 2D animation tools to visualize project layouts and construction sequences.
- Create schematics and drafting documents that meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Assist in the integration of CAD models into larger construction or civil engineering projects.
- Maintain organized records of all CAD files, revisions, and project documentation for easy access and review.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, or SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, drafting techniques, and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, NavisWorks, 2D animation, and schematic development is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret survey data accurately and convert it into detailed digital drawings.
- Experience working on civil engineering or land development projects is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.
