Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is seeking two enthusiastic, detail-oriented Membership Coordinators to join our Advancement team. These positions play an essential role in supporting member engagement, membership operations, stewardship activities, and exceptional guest experiences.
The Membership Operations Coordinator will focus primarily on membership operations, database management, and administrative support, while the Membership Services & Stewardship Coordinator will focus primarily on member services, stewardship, membership sales, and guest engagement. Both roles work collaboratively to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for Garden members and visitors. Both roles are full-time, non-exempt positions, paying between $19-21 per hour.

What You'll DoMembership Administration & Operations
- Process memberships accurately and efficiently.
- Enter, update, and maintain confidential constituent and gift information in the Garden's CRM system.
- Generate membership cards, receipts, donor acknowledgments, and other correspondence.
- Maintain accurate member, donor, and organizational records.
- Conduct periodic database audits and data cleanup projects.
- Troubleshoot and support CRM-related processes and technology needs.
- Assist with reporting and financial reconciliation processes.
Member Services & Stewardship
- Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective members.
- Answer membership inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Sell, upgrade, and renew memberships through in-person and virtual channels.
- Support stewardship initiatives that strengthen member and donor relationships.
- Serve as a welcoming ambassador for the Garden and its membership program.
Guest Experience & Collaboration
- Support guests by answering questions and assisting with admissions and member services.
- Collaborate with Guest Services, Advancement, and other Garden departments.
- Contribute to special events, membership promotions, and donor engagement activities.
- Ensure every interaction reflects the Garden's commitment to hospitality, inclusion, and excellence.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of nonprofit, membership, customer service, donor relations, hospitality, or administrative experience.
- Experience working with confidential information and maintaining data accuracy.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with CRM software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and the Garden's mission and values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tessitura or similar CRM/database systems.
- Experience in membership programs, donor relations, or guest services.
- Conversational Spanish fluency is a plus.
