Description
This position is a Industrial Maintenance Laborer. Employee will perform Industrial Cleaning tasks in accordance with Company and/or Client Policy and Procedures to ensure safety and quality goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Follow direction of Field Supervisor to perform Environmental Services Contracting Services
- Practice Safe work Practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
- Perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks.
- Perform Industrial Cleaning tasks in accordance with Company and/or Client Policy and Procedures to ensure safety and quality goals are met.
- Adhere to all regulations and procedures regarding the handling of Haz and Non-Haz materials.
- Additional responsibilities will be shared with qualified applicants during the interview process.
- Travel time of 60% (during certain time periods based on seasonality)
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be clean shaven
- Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork.
- 40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus, but will be provided if necessary
- DOT Examiner’s Certificate is required but candidate will be sent for testing (drug, alcohol and physical)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Ability to work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to wear respirators as needed
- Work and travel in inclement weather
- Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor 50-70% of the time
- Able to tolerate exposure to moderate noise levels
