Job Title: Graphic Designer

Reports to: Advertising Manager

Status: Non-Exempt

Summary:

The Graphic Designer will work as a team member within the Lewis advertising department to create cohesive marketing campaigns company wide. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with a variety of people including store managers, pharmacists, office personnel, and outside agencies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input and output of merchandise signs and distribution of signs to appropriate locations

• Order and maintain proper inventory for merchandise signs (paper, toner, etc.)

• Design and execute the corporate newsletter 

• Create designs for interior store images, store banners, event POP, etc.

• Manage updates to the company website

• Design weekly sales flyers and ads

• Create logos and monograms for corporate use

• Upload information to store marquees

• Provide support to the advertising team and sales team (Category Managers)

• Answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner

• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Basic digital photography skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

• Knowledge of InDesign CS software

• General interest in learning new technologies 

• Must have artistic sensibility and the ability to visually communicate

• Ability to create and provide new ideas

• Must be open to receiving and providing constructive criticism 

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Graphic Design preferred

• Retail experience helpful but not required

• Experience with social media marketing

• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 75% of the time

• Must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment constantly

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently
