- Conduct regular inspections of inmate cells and common areas to ensure safety and compliance with regulations

- Manage inmate behavior using conflict management strategies, self-defense skills, and de-escalation techniques
Requirements
- Prior experience working with incarcerated individuals or in law enforcement environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of correctional policy compliance, criminal justice policy, and security protocols
- Proficiency in report writing, CCTV surveillance, and application of force in correctional facilities
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, Taser use, and familiarity with firearms handling in law enforcement settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in a correctional environment
- Strong conflict management skills combined with self-defense training to handle challenging situations effectively
- Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and effective inmate supervision
