What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Lewis-Clark State College?
The Lewis-Clark KinderCollege daycare/preschool center is looking to hire a part-time assistant teacher with a flexible schedule. The Assistant Teacher is responsible for helping teachers organize and lead the daily activities of infants, toddlers, and pre-kindergarten children. They implement the program curriculum and environment, providing a high quality and developmentally appropriate experience to meet the needs of the children and families.
Hourly Rate: $10-12 based on education
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of childcare experience
- 3-6 college credits in early childhood, education, psychology, social work, and/or nursing or a Child Development Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Helping with toileting or diaper changing
- Cleaning up after children
- Providing emotional support
- Supervising and engaging with children
