Be able to use a monometer and/or combustion analyzer for example. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on industrial boilers and related systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Troubleshoot mechanical components, hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and control systems associated with boiler operations.
- Conduct field service visits to client sites for installation, maintenance, or emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor system performance through gauges, sensors, and control panels; adjust settings to meet safety and efficiency standards.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system modifications for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating technical information and solutions.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience with a strong background in boiler systems equipment w/8-10 years' experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and control diagrams effectively.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
- Field service experience working directly at client sites for maintenance or emergency repairs.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance best practices with a focus on safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
