Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have between 2 and 5 years of strong estate planning, probate, and trust administration experience, particularly with complex and high net worth estates, and be able to manage multiple matters independently. Specific job duties include: (i) drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney; (ii) drafting court pleadings for probate administration and related court proceedings; (iii) preparing, analyzing, and concisely summarizing complex planning structures; and (iv) assisting with multiple estates of various sizes. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We require outstanding academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills, a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, and demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Our associates work closely with experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Prior experience with estate planning and administration in a sophisticated law firm practice is required. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic contributor to the Firm and office culture, and have a collaborative approach to his/her work environment.
