OWNER-OPERATOR WANTED — 26' BOX TRUCK | OTR / INTERSTATE LEWIS & O'NEAL CO LLC — MEMPHIS, TN Looking for a qualified 26' box truck owner-operator to lease onto Lewis & O'Neal Co LLC's operating authority for OTR/interstate freight. 83% OWNER-OPERATOR / 17% CARRIER Owner-Operator keeps 83% Lewis & O'Neal Co LLC retains 17% PERFORMANCE-BASED OPPORTUNITY Strong operators may be considered for an improved percentage based on: Safety & compliance On-time pickup/delivery performance Broker/customer ratings Claims history Reliability & communication Revenue production Documentation Overall operating performance Broker/load qualification standards Any change in percentage or applicable fees will be agreed upon and documented in the written lease agreement. SELF-DISPATCH You choose your freight and preferred lanes. Owner-operators may self-dispatch and look for loads that fit their equipment, schedule, lanes and revenue goals, subject to Lewis & O'Neal Co LLC's broker, load, safety, insurance and compliance approval. You have flexibility — we protect the authority. EQUIPMENT 26' Box Truck Required Reliable mechanical condition Proper registration DOT-compliant equipment Current required inspection Proper cargo/safety equipment Must pass Lewis & O'Neal's pre-lease equipment inspection Truck must remain compliant throughout the lease OWNER-OPERATOR PROVIDES INSURANCE Owner-operator is responsible for obtaining and maintaining required commercial insurance and providing a current COI that meets Lewis & O'Neal Co LLC's requirements, applicable law, and the written lease. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS CDL required Appropriate CDL class for the vehicle F endorsement required Valid DOT medical qualification Current MVR OTR/interstate experience preferred Acceptable driving & safety history Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance as applicable Professional attitude Dependable communication Must meet carrier qualification requirements DOCUMENTS REQUIRED Applicants should be prepared to provide: CDL / driver's license MVR Medical qualification documentation COI Truck registration Vehicle information Proof of ownership or lawful possession Required business/tax documentation Other documents required for carrier qualification INSPECTION & COMPLIANCE Owner-operator equipment must meet applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements. Requirements include: Pre-lease inspection Required annual/periodic inspection Preventive maintenance Safe operating condition Required inspection documentation Compliance with applicable equipment standards WEIGH STATIONS & ROADSIDE INSPECTIONS Because this is OTR/interstate operation, drivers must comply with applicable: DOT roadside inspections State commercial vehicle inspections Weigh stations Weight/axle requirements ELD/HOS requirements Cargo/load securement requirements Any inspection report, citation, violation or out-of-service order must be promptly reported to Lewis & O'Neal Co LLC. ELD / HOS Driver must comply with applicable FMCSA Hours-of-Service and ELD requirements and maintain accurate records. OWNER-OPERATOR EXPENSES Owner-operator provides and pays for their own: Truck Fuel Maintenance & repairs Tires Commercial insurance Registration/permits as applicable Tolls ELD/service costs where applicable Other owner-operator operating expenses Specific deductions, fees and responsibilities will be clearly identified in the written lease agreement. Duties

• Safely operate your own box truck to pick up and deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws, route schedules, and delivery instructions to optimize efficiency and safety on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams using mobile devices to receive route updates or report issues during deliveries.
• Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including material handling and moving items within storage areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries, addressing customer inquiries courteously.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services involving box trucks or vans.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including manual handling, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment operation.
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace weight handling standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight limits.
• Prior experience using mobile devices for route navigation or communication is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining efficiency during load & unload processes.
