Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to the dealership's service department.
- Listen to customer concerns, evaluate their needs, and provide accurate and timely advice regarding vehicle service and maintenance options.
- Schedule service appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of service bays and technician resources.
- Prepare repair orders and provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs, including cost estimates and anticipated completion times.
- Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs or maintenance services.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by effectively resolving any issues or complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles, providing updates on repair timelines and any changes to service orders.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure availability of required parts and accessories for service and repair jobs.
- Utilize computer systems and software applications to document customer interactions, service orders, and repair history accurately.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications for record-keeping and customer communication.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous service advisor experience preferred but not required.
