What You'll Do
- Prepare individual, business, and state income tax returns
- Review client tax documents for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate with clients to obtain missing information
- Research tax questions and apply current tax law
- Assist with tax planning opportunities throughout the year
- Work closely with our team to provide exceptional client service
- Maintain accurate electronic files and documentation
- Participate in continuing education and training
Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a variety of backgrounds, including:
- Enrolled Agent (EA)
- CPA
- Accounting degree
- Experienced tax preparer
- Someone currently working toward becoming an EA or CPA
Ideal candidates will have:
- One or more years of tax preparation experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional attitude and positive work ethic
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
- Experience with tax software (ProSeries experience is a plus but not required)
