Life's Energy Wellness Center Inc. is a CARF-accredited Integrated Behavioral Health organization dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered behavioral health services throughout Maryland's Eastern Shore. Our comprehensive services include Outpatient Mental Health, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), Psychiatry, Prevention Services, and Community-Based Behavioral Health Programs.
We are seeking an organized, motivated, and compassionate Assistant PRP Director to support the daily operations of our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. This leadership position is ideal for a behavioral health professional who enjoys supervising staff, ensuring quality service delivery, and helping individuals achieve recovery and independence.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or a closely related behavioral health field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a Maryland Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), community behavioral health, or a related mental health setting.
- Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
- Working knowledge of Maryland PRP regulations, documentation standards, and recovery-oriented service delivery.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Maryland driver's license with reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline.
- Maryland mental health license (LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C).
- Experience with CARF accreditation standards.
- Experience conducting staff training, documentation reviews, and quality improvement activities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist the PRP Director in overseeing daily operations of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support to PRP Specialists, Family and Community Liaisons, and other rehabilitation staff.
- Monitor staff productivity, documentation quality, and compliance with agency policies and Maryland regulations.
- Review assessments, Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs), progress notes, and service documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with staff orientation, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, chart audits, and corrective action planning.
- Help ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements, COMAR regulations, and CARF accreditation standards.
- Assist with admissions, referrals, discharges, and coordination of care with therapists, psychiatrists, schools, families, and community partners.
- Monitor caseload distribution and support staff in achieving service delivery goals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide clinical and operational support.
- Serve as the PRP Director's designee during absences, ensuring continuity of program operations.
