Job Summary
Summary: This position is located at the University of Oklahoma Athletics. Responsible for IT and administrative support of food service programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and maintain POS terminals, handheld devices, kiosks, and mobile ordering tablets.
- Troubleshoot transaction failures, connectivity issues, and device malfunctions during events.
- Manage software updates, menu programming, pricing changes, and discounts/promotions.
- Oversee integration between POS and inventory/revenue systems.
- Ensure equipment is deployed correctly before each event and collected/secured afterward
- Troubleshoot bandwidth issues, access point failures, and outages in real time
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and coordinate replacements
- Quickly resolve issues to minimize downtime and revenue loss
- Provide on-site IT support during athletic events (football, basketball, baseball, softball, etc.
- Assist operations with analyzing sales trends, downtime reports, and device performance.
- Support finance teams in reconciling POS revenue data post-event.
- Provide training for employees and supervisors on POS use, login processes, and troubleshooting basics
- Manage digital menu boards, pricing updates, video wall systems, and promotional displays.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
