Job Summary
Summary: Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs for the Banquet and Catering Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client centric manner.
- Maintain confidential files.
- Assist with temporary staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
- Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with peers, Supervisor, and vendors/clients.
- Preview temp agency invoices for accuracy for payment approval.
- Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain all menu tags for banquet and catering events.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
