Job Summary
- Responsible for providing human resource services and products that perpetuate and enhance the Levy culture and vision and values. Results are achieved through intelligent, professional and practical communication, and leadership skills. Major areas of responsibility will be assisting with recruiting, training, compensation and employee relations.
- Provides support for all HR functions through the use of HR competencies. The HR department is comprised of a Director of HR, HR Manager, Payroll Manager, Staffing Check-In Ambassadors, and Guest Service Ambassadors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees.
- Verifies I-9 documentation and completes I-9 forms; tracks and initiates updates as required.
- Submits online investigation requests and assists with employee background checks.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs; recommends any corrective action.
- Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork.
- Assists with processing terminations.
- Assists with the preparation of performance review forms.
- Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Assists with the recruitment and interview process.
- Assists with the various employee discount coupons by contacting companies as directed by HR Manager.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager.
- Schedules conferences by reserving facilities at local hotels and/or restaurants.
- Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
- Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
- Prepares correspondence.
- Prepares new employee files.
- Processes mail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with travel booking platforms and expense management software a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods, walk, stoop, and move easily from sitting to standing.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for portions of a workday.
• Mental and physical alertness to react effectively in emergency situations.
