Position Overview
The primary role of the TAMs is to successfully integrate national retailing programs into the territory, to promote and train in-store associates on the sale of our branded window coverings, and to achieve maximum market saturation and build brand reputation. TAMs are accountable for managing the accounts in their territory to deliver top line sales revenue and profitability for the brands they represent. A TAM utilizes leading edge data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits through price optimization for Levolor and our customers. They also builds customer relationships at the buyer level and where appropriate, facilitate connectivity in other functional areas. Most importantly, a TAM delivers results while maintaining the highest level of integrity
What you'll do
- Leverage sales data and market insights to identify opportunities, optimize pricing, and drive top-line revenue growth
- Manage and grow retail accounts within the assigned territory to maximize market share and brand visibility
- Deliver in-store training and product presentations to associates, driving product knowledge and sales conversion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store associates, department managers, and buyer-level stakeholders
- Execute merchandising standards, including installing, maintaining, and updating product displays and pricing
- Anticipate, address, and overcome objections from associates and end customers to drive product adoption
- Plan and optimize territory coverage, store visits, and travel to maximize efficiency and sales impact
- Communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Manager on performance, activities, and market insights
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in retail sales and/or account management
- Proven ability to manage accounts and execute territory or field-based sales plans
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience coordinating projects and delivering results within defined timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, email systems)
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and small electric tools for display setup/maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight travel
