Berk-Tek, a Leviton Company, is looking for Summer Help in our final packaging department in New Holland, PA! For 100 years, Leviton has been committed to delivering smarter, safer, more reliable products to a rapidly changing world.
Desireable schedule - Monday to Friday from 7 am - 3 pm! Great for students looking for a summer job with excellent pay, $20.00 per hour!Â
Responsibilities
In this role you could be responsible for operating packaging equipment, preparing customer orders for shipment, operating our scrapping equipment and operating our rework equipment.Â
No experience necessary! We are willing to train those who demonstrate the aptitude for our type of work. Summer help employees will receive training in all areas of the packaging department.
Desirable schedule - Monday to Friday from 7 am - 3 pm! Great for students looking for a summer job with excellent pay, $20.00 per hour!Â

Areas Of Responsibility For Our Final Packaging Operators
- Package and label wire for stock and shipments, print out and label customer part numbers
- Meet all production and quality standards
- Cable test prior to respool if necessary, cut out any obvious quality defects in the cable
- Use the computer for labels, master information, process sheets, and to report production
- Read and comprehend shop floor paperwork including masters, process sheets, and SOPs
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents provided to operator machines printed in English.
- Basic math skills, required
- Ability to operate a computer, required
- Ability to communicate effectively with various employees throughout the facility
- Ability to work in both a team environment and as an individual contributor
- Must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled as a student in High School or College
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or machine operator position, preferred
