Overview
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility to include floors, toilets, sinks, walls, and windows, restocking supplies in restrooms, and removing rubbish.
Responsibilities
- Supports a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures
- Cleans and stocks all restrooms
- Cleans assigned offices
- Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Gathers and empties trash from assigned locations
- Cleans windows as needed
- Follows procedures for the safe preparation and use of various types of cleaners to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs in order to carry out the essential functions of the position
- Ability to use floor scrubbers and carpet shampooing machines
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior industrial cleaning experience preferred
