What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026/27 Leverett Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional position at Leverett Elementary School?
Leverett Elementary is seeking a committed and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a Structured Learning Services environment (1:15 setting). This role involves assisting with academic instruction, adaptive behavior and daily living skills for students with disabilities. Minimum qualifications include: at least 60 college credit hours, OR a passing score on the Paraprofessional PRAXIS exam. Applicants should also have experience working with students with disabilities, strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow teacher direction and provide consistent support in a structured setting. This is a 180 day contracted position.
Pay Range 26 or 27 (Based on Education. This is NOT the hourly rate of pay)
