The Account Strategist plays a critical role in maintaining the day-to-day health and organization of client relationships within a pod. This role ensures that communication between clients and the internal team remains clear, proactive, and well-coordinated.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to keep accounts organized, maintain consistent communication with clients, and ensure that the pod is executing against client priorities. The Account Strategist helps translate client needs into actionable tasks for the team while ensuring that reporting, meetings, and follow-ups are handled with a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
This role works closely with the Account Director to support client strategy and relationship management while coordinating with the rest of the pod to ensure that work is delivered efficiently and effectively.
The Account Strategist reports to the Account Director within their pod.

What You'll Do:
Manage Day-to-Day Client Communication
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on routine communications, helping ensure that requests, questions, and updates are addressed promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on campaign performance, deliverables, and upcoming initiatives.
- Ensure that client feedback and requests are clearly communicated to the pod team.
- Support the Account Director in maintaining strong client relationships through thoughtful and proactive communication.
Prepare and Coordinate Client Meetings
- Develop meeting agendas that reflect current campaign performance, strategic priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
- Coordinate with the pod team to gather relevant updates, insights, and deliverables ahead of client meetings.
- Participate in client calls to present performance updates, review campaign activity, and ensure follow-up actions are clearly defined.
Manage Reporting and Performance Communication
- Work closely with the pod team and reporting resources to prepare performance analysis that clearly communicate campaign results and insights.
- Ensure that reporting is accurate, well organized, and delivered on schedule.
- Help translate campaign data into clear summaries that highlight performance trends, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Presenting performance updates to clients when appropriate.
Coordinate Internal Execution
- Ensure that client requests and campaign priorities are clearly communicated to the pod team.
- Work with the Project Manager to track deliverables, timelines, and tasks related to client initiatives.
- Help maintain organization across multiple accounts by ensuring that internal workflows remain aligned with client expectations.
- Serve as a bridge between client communication and internal execution.
Support Strategic Planning
- Assist the Account Director in gathering insights and research that support strategic recommendations for clients.
- Maintain awareness of campaign performance and client objectives to help identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.
- Support the development of presentations, planning documents, and strategic materials for client discussions.
What You'll Bring
- A strong organizational mindset and the ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in account management, client services, marketing coordination, or a similar role within a marketing agency or digital marketing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple accounts.
- Comfort working with marketing performance data and helping translate results into meaningful insights for clients.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate work across cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate client needs and ensure that the pod remains organized and responsive.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000, based on experience and qualifications.
