About the Team
The Accounting team is focused on building scalable and reliable accounting processes and
valuable financial reporting outputs for operational, business analytics, and planning purposes. This
role requires someone who is proactive in achieving initiatives (individually and as a manager), detail
oriented, and eager to build structure in our recurring month-end processes while still being
comfortable with ambiguity.
\n- You will report to the Controller and your responsibilities will include:
- Manage all operational accounting initiates including a timely and reliable accounting close process
- Review journal entries and reconciliations performed by the team and ensure that they are in line with GAAP
- Support our ERP System implementation
- Implement scalable corporate policies and internal controls
- Lead solutions to enhance the speed and reliability of our financial reporting
- Support interim and annual financial audit process
- Partner with various departments to support system implementations, budgeting, financial analysis
- Active CPA required
- 6 years’ progressive experience in GAAP accounting
- Previous roles include a combination of public accounting and corporate accounting in a rapidly growing company
- Managerial experience
- Experience undergoing a financial audit
- Experience with inventory accounting
- Experience managing payroll
- Experience with Consolidations Accounting
- You understand that there’s no such thing as a “typical day” for a startup; you consider yourself flexible, proactive, and patient
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and oral communication skills
