What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director of Operations position at Levels?
About Levels
We're not just another protein company. We’re here to clean up the supplement space, starting with radically authentic whey protein. At Levels, we keep it simple, we keep it sharp, and we keep it real. No fluff, no gimmicks. Just a focused team moving fast and building something big.
The Role
This isn’t a cushy middle management job. This is second-in-command to the guy who knows where all the bodies are buried. Our COO is the beating heart of day-to-day execution. You’ll be his right hand, his first call, his operating partner, his contingency plan. When things get messy, you’re the one cleaning it up. When they’re going well, you’re pushing them further. You’ll lead projects, build systems, connect cross-functional dots, and get your hands dirty. You’ll be trusted with context most don’t see, and expected to move with speed, precision, and complete discretion.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with the COO on all ops-related workstreams, strategic and tactical.
- Own and drive priority initiatives across the company (logistics, finance ops, retail support, etc).
- Serve as a connector across teams, bridging Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
- Build internal processes that scale, improve communication flow, and make things faster and smarter.
- Be the operator behind the operator, able to see the big picture and the operational details at once.
- Prepare strategic updates and operational check-ins with our CEO and leadership team.
- Take things off our plates before we ask. You’re not reactive, you’re predictive.
Who You Are
- You’ve done this before: Must 8 years in ops, strategy, bizops, or chief-of-staff-type roles. Fast-moving environments only.
- 5 years in CPG, food & beverage, or supplements, bonus points if you’ve seen what scaling looks like in those trenches.
- You’ve worked with a high-output founder or C-suite exec, and know what it means to support one.
- You’re ruthlessly organized and fast. No handholding required. No ego in the work.
- You can think high-level but operate low-level. You don’t flinch at spreadsheets, deck building, vendor calls, or inventory meetings.
- You’re a fixer. A dot-connector. A simplifier. And when things break, you figure it out.
Important Note
This is not a remote role. We are building this thing together, in person. If you're not based in or able to relocate to Jupiter, FL, this isn’t the role for you.
We're not looking for title-chasers or polished email pros, we want real operators with real skills. We’ll know if you have them.
Compensation & Perks
- Competitive salary based on experience and output
- Full health, dental & vision
- Paid time off (vacation & sick) plus company holidays
- 401(k) with match
