GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Budtenders are responsible for creating a welcoming environment, greeting, informing, and directing customers in a courteous and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about superior customer service
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Greeting customers
- Processing in store purchases.
- Processing all curbside purchases
- Processing all Weedmaps purchases (for pick up)
- Assisting patients/visitors with all the information requested/required.
- Keeping track of inventory that need to be replenished.
- Stocking walls and showcases.
- General cleaning
- Maintain working knowledge of relevant state and federal laws regarding marijuana in the state of Michigan.
- Cash handling.
- Ability to master point of sale software.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing and walking.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED
Qualification:
Must be at least 21 years old and a resident of Michigan.
Must be able to work a full-time schedule that will include weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have cash handling experience. Strong customer service background is preferred.
Point of sale experience preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check.
