Levelland ISD is looking for qualified food service employees.  Advancement opportunities may be available for those interested in future management positions.             

Primary Purpose:

Prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.

Education/Certification:

None specified

Training: 

Six (6) hours of training is required by the Texas Department of Agriculture annually.  This can be conducted by the district's food service department or Region 17 Education Service Center in Lubbock.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to understand food preparation and safety instructions

Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures

Ability to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations
