Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage fire alarm installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement necessary changes to project plans.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports using project management tools.
- Utilize relevant industry knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA72 and other applicable codes.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Currently holds non-expired or is able to obtain BSIS Alarm Company Employee (ACE) card (Fingerprinted background check required to apply for ACE card)
- Current or renewable 'Blue Card' (California Fire Life Safety Technician; Journeyman)
- Currently holds or is able to obtain a valid Driver's License, and maintains no more than 1 point on DMV record (Driving a company vehicle is a requirement of this position).
- Exceptional dependability & punctuality; demonstrates respect for and values other people's time.
- Experience installing, testing, and/or servicing commercial and residential Fire & Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, including networking, or experience in related industry/trade such as Construction, Electrical, IT/Networks, Cable TV, Low Voltage.
- THOUGH NOT REQUIRED, PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS POSSESSING:
- WBFAA Apprentice
- Graduated Apprentice and passed Journeyman Exam; 'Blue Card' CFLST
- Current or recent experience specifically with DMP, Notifier, FCI Gamewell, SilentKnight, Firelite, Honeywell, AES Radio, and/or Resideo Security, products.
- NICET training and/or certification.
- Relevant construction trades experience.
- Project Management experience.
Salary : $38 - $48
