Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections to meet their needs.
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers and performing cash management duties.
- Conduct retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and sales promotions to ensure precise transactions.
- Utilize retail software for data entry, inventory updates, and sales tracking to maintain accurate records.
- Support retail lending activities by assisting with loan processing, collections, and related documentation.
- Handle cashiering responsibilities such as processing cash, credit card payments, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a retail store environment or financial services setting.
- Familiarity with banking procedures, loan collections, and retail lending processes is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10-key typing accuracy.
- Experience with data entry using financial software or point-of-sale systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash drawer handling.
- Knowledge of retail store operations such as cash management, cashiering, and inventory procedures is desirable.
