Technician/Installer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment, including HVAC/R systems and air conditioning units. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Installation Technician will work closely with clients to ensure that all installations meet quality standards and operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems and air conditioning units.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
• Perform equipment repairs as needed, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards.
• Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components and diagnosing issues.
• Collaborate with team members to build and install equipment in a timely manner.
• Drive a company van to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions related to installations.

Skills

• Proficiency in equipment repair with a focus on Containment and Steel Structures
• Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Experience reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Welding skills are a plus for certain installation tasks.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while on-site.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
