We’re looking for passionate, high-energy instructors to join our team and lead engaging group fitness classes.
Position Overview:
As a Group Fitness Instructor, you’ll bring energy, motivation, and knowledge to every class you teach. You’ll be responsible for creating a positive and safe environment, delivering effective workouts that meet the needs of a variety of participants, and representing our studio’s mission to inspire healthier lifestyles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead safe, fun, and effective group fitness classes (e.g., strength, barre, yoga, kettlebell, HIIT, mat Pilate, etc. depending on experience).
- Provide proper exercise instruction and modifications for participants of all fitness levels.
- Deliver classes that are motivating, inclusive, and aligned with the studio’s programming.
- Set up and break down class equipment as needed.
- Build strong relationships with clients and foster a welcoming community environment.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude, both in and out of class.
Qualifications:
- Current group fitness or specialty certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, Yoga Alliance, Barre, etc.) preferred.
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Previous experience leading group classes is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire participants in a group setting.
