We are seeking a Lead Smart Home Integrator to drive on-site installations, lead technicians, and deliver an exceptional client experience across high-end residential projects.
Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Installation
- Lead full installations of smart home systems: AV, Wi-Fi/networking, lighting control, shading, security, and automation.
- Interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and project scopes.
- Perform professional rack builds, structured wiring, device mounting, and equipment configuration.
- Set up routers, switches, access points, amplifiers, soundbars, processors, touchscreens, and cameras.
- Provide skilled troubleshooting to ensure systems perform at a high standard.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor, and train installers and junior technicians.
- Coordinate daily workflow, maintain project schedules, and uphold Level Up’s quality standards.
- Train team members on cable management, rack building, device installation, and field best practices.
Customer Experience & Handover
- Act as the professional on-site representative for homeowners, builders, interior designers, and trade partners.
- Conduct client orientations and system walkthroughs.
- Communicate field updates, changes, and challenges to the operations and project management team.
Programming & Configuration
- Program/configure smart home platforms such as Lutron, Josh.ai, Sonos, Ubiquiti, and other systems used by Level Up Automation.
- Configure networks, remote access tools, and automation scenes.
- Ensure integrations across audio, video, lighting, security, voice control, and automation operate smoothly.
Quality & Safety
- Maintain Level Up’s high standards of craftsmanship, cable organization, labeling, and documentation.
- Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
- Participate in continuous improvement of installation processes and best practices.
Qualifications Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in residential AV, low-voltage, or smart home integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Audio/video installations
- Home networking equipment
- Lighting or automation systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and project plans.
- Previous experience leading job sites or supervising small field teams.
- Proficient with power tools, ladders, attic/basement work, and general construction environments.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and customer-service mindset.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Experience with Lutron RadioRA3 or HomeWorks, Sonos, Josh.ai, Ubiquiti networking, or similar platforms.
- Manufacturer or CEDIA certifications.
- Experience coordinating with builders, electricians, and interior designers.
Work Environment
- Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional project-driven overtime.
- Field-based role visiting residential job sites and completed homes.
- Some regional travel may be required.

Pay: $25.31 - $30.48 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
