Remodeling Contractor/ Pro Handyman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Remodeling Contractor and Pro Handyman to join our team. The positions will execute residential home repairs, renovation and remodeling projects with precision and integrity. The handyman position will work side-by-side with us on remodels, or may work alone if performing handyman type tasks. We work out of our clients homes each day. We work centrally out of NRH, with ~20 mile work radius. You just have transportation to this area each day.

We’re a small home repair and home remodeling company, focused on knowledge of homes systems inside and out, upside and down. We perform all repairs from roofing to flooring, and renovations from built-ins and shiplap to load bearing wall removal and kitchen remodels - there's something new and different every day!

We work hard and like to have fun, but our ultimate focus is always high-quality - we do things a little a slower and with extra care to show off our craftsmanship. We’re exclusively word-of-mouth, and in demand, so our completed projects are our advertisement! We love what we do, and are looking for a positive, like-minded individual to join our team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, and working hard to enjoy seeing a beautiful end product. You will need your own tools, and should know how to read a tape measure. We are not seeking to train a beginner, we are busy and we need someone to hit the ground running. A qualified candidate should have some combination of the following experience:

• Drywall, patching, texture matching & Painting Skills are strongly preferred, and a must for our handyman.
• Handyman- adjust doors, install doors, hang art, mount tv, replace fixtures, lay floor, drywall, paint, etc
• Carpentry- layout skills, fit-up, level/plumb, working with sheet and trim, baseboard, crown molding
• Remodeling, bath- demo, replace tub, modify framing, lay tile a plus, tub to shower conversions.
• Painting- small repairs to whole home int/ext. - roll & spray
• Flooring- tile, hardwood, laminate, carpet, Lvp

Requirements

• Proven experience in remodeling, or general construction with a strong knowledge of carpentry, framing, home repairs and/or home remodels
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on various materials including concrete, wood, metal, and drywall
• Knowledge of residential construction, including typical interior and exterior repairs, as well as creative solutions to challenges
• Strong understanding of basic plumbing systems, electrical wiring basics, caulking techniques, tile laying methods, drywall skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively
