Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Rigger role located in Spartanburg, SC. The Rigger will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and operation of lifting equipment for heavy machinery and industrial components. Daily tasks include safely attaching loads, coordinating with team members to rig and disassemble equipment, performing routine inspections on rigging gear, and following safety guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards. The Rigger will also support equipment removal, installation, and other operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Leadership and growth capabilities are a plus
• Proficiency in rigging techniques and equipment operation, including slings, chains, and hoists
• Understanding of load calculations, rigging safety standards, and lifting procedures
• Experience in equipment removal or installation, and asset handling within industrial settings
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with crews and supervisors
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts a plus
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy loads and working at heights
• Prior experience in industrial support services or a related field
• Relevant certifications in rigging, heavy equipment operation, or safety training are highly desirable
