Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Center Pivot Service Technician / Pipeline Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing center pivot irrigation systems and assisting with pipeline installation, inspection, and maintenance projects. Your hands-on skills will ensure efficient operation of irrigation equipment and pipeline infrastructure, supporting agricultural productivity and water management efforts. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on center pivot irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues within equipment.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline infrastructure, including pipe laying and leak detection.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for documentation purposes.
- Support other field operations as needed, including site preparation and equipment setup.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with irrigation systems or pipeline infrastructure is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and performing manual labor tasks.
