What You’ll Be Doing as a Brand Creative Manager:
The Brand Creative Manager at Leupold & Stevens will spearhead the development of innovative campaigns that resonate with our primary consumers who are driven by rugged performance and depend on premium products in the field. As the creative lead, you will have to leverage your background in team management and marketing execution, as well as your deep understanding of the outdoor lifestyle, to closely collaborate with various teams in order to tell compelling brand and product stories through multiple channels. By championing our "Be Relentless" ethos, the Brand Creative Manager will fuel inspirational narratives that highlight our commitment to courage, determination, and grit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads the creative team in developing our campaign concepts in order to deliver Leupold & Stevens’ brand image, identity, and storytelling across all consumer channels.
- Oversees the development of our branded content, ensuring that it’s useful, engaging, and relevant to our target consumers.
- Consults with Product Line Managers and Subject Matter Experts to help create the most effective methods for marketing and communicating new product features and benefits across all consumer touchpoints.
- Oversees and monitors schedules and deliverables from creative agencies, photographers, copywriters and other outside vendors as needed.
- Partners with various marketing team members and internal stakeholders to drive a consistent brand voice through all of Leupold’s branded collateral.
- Helps plan, develop, and deliver content across all consumer touchpoints, including our company’s website, social media channels, email campaigns, packaging, retail POP, events, and trainings.
- Develops and tracks metrics and success criteria for assigned marketing activities.
- Manages, motivates, and develops direct reports within the Brand Marketing team.
Skills & Experience You’ll Need as a Brand Creative Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, journalism, communications or a related field. 8-10 years progressive experience in the marketing function of a company with a global, multi-channel sales environment.
- Knowledge of shooting sports, optical products, firearms applications and related distribution channels and retail operations.
- Thorough understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
- Significant experience with digital and social media content development, online content creation, CMS, and SEO principles and techniques.
- High level of creativity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate at all levels both internally and externally.
- Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across functions to achieve outcomes that support business objectives.
Work Environment:
Work takes place in standard office environment. Requires travel on a fluctuating schedule.
