Overview

At Glo, a Assitant Manager is responsible for overseeing day to day operations of the store. You will provide ongoing support and training, focusing on performance, cleanliness, sales, and upholding the Glo standard. You must possess a high level of communication skills, a positive management style, being the team “cheerManager.” Glo Tanning is looking for individuals who are FUN, FRIENDLY, OUTGOING, and DEDICATED people who love to be tan and help make others feel their best! Previous sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Always be prepared to bring your smile and personality!

Required Criteria

Meet and exceed personal sales goals, create and develop glo-ing reviews for salon culture and the overall salon reputation throughout both employees and clients, while confidently and correctly performing all Assistant Manager duties. Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software.

In-Store Requirements

Full time (32 - 40 hours) is required in salons. Reliable transportation, Flexible and open availability to assist with nights, weekends; works at least a minimum of one night AND one weekend per week unless every team member is fully trained. Available by phone during salon hours and calls back in a timely manner. This management position would not likely be a good fit for a full time student.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

1 years of management experience

1 years of customer service experience

Job Responsibilities

Physical: Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 10 pounds, spend entire shift on your feet to assist in cleaning our services and assisting clients

Sales: Reaches monthly sales goals, assists in training team in sales skills, motivates and keep team focused on the goals

Management: Employee growth and retention, shift coverage, assist in preparation of Monthly Team Meetings, effective implementation regarding new and existing policies and procedures, training and shadowing, effective follow up

Customer Service: Ensure team provides exceptional customer service, Receive only ‘glo-ing’ reviews on social media

Cleanliness Maintenance: Store Audits must receive 90%, Communicates, troubleshoots and helps repair equipment when capable, Update and follow up daily on maintenance issue
