We are seeking dedicated Political Science/Geography instructors to teach undergraduate courses within the Political Science program on a part-time basis.; classes are held on campus during the day with flexible office hours.
Position Description
- Develop and deliver course content following the program curriculum and academic standards.
- Teach courses such as U.S. Government and World Regional Geography.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
- Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and student development.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
- Utilize the Canvas learning platform and other technological resources to enhance student learning.
- Collaborate with the Department Chair to align teaching strategies and course objectives with program goals.
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Political Science, Geography, International Relations, or a related field; a Ph.D. is preferred.
- Relevant professional experience in related fields.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to student success.
