Job Overview
EXPIERENCE REQUIRED, we are looking for someone who is fast, and will do a quality job!
In this position we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our restaurant, catering services, or hotel kitchen environment.
When not doing dishes we also expect help prepping in the kitchen, such as chopping vegetables, making spreads, etc
HOURS YOU WILL BE WORKING DURING
Monday: 12pm-5pm
Wednesdays: 11 am- 5pm
Fridays: 11 am- 5pm
Saturdays: 11am-6pm
Sundays: 11am-6pm
Occasional help on other weekdays optional but helpful!
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and cleaning food service areas.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Help with inventory management by keeping track of clean dishes and utensils.
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks as required to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
