Let’s Talk Speech and Language Therapy Services is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for 1099 contract positions in St. Lucie Public Schools, an “A” rated Destination District in Florida.

Duties
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students (PreK–12), based on IEP goals
- Conduct formal and informal speech-language evaluations, including standardized testing
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and progress summaries
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support communication across environments
- Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school, district, and Medicaid guidelines
- Adhere to school schedules, timelines, and ethical standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disorders.
- Experience in patient care with a focus on speech therapy techniques.
- Proficiency in patient assessment methods for effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred; familiarity with school settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with speech and language delays.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal skills.
