Job Summary
Let’s Talk and Move Therapy is growing, and we’re excited to expand our multidisciplinary services! We are currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis, with a highly flexible schedule tailored to your needs. Our clinic currently provides speech therapy and physical therapy, and we are looking to add occupational therapy to better serve our families and provide comprehensive, collaborative care—all under one roof.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate pediatric patients using standardized and informal assessments to identify delays in fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each child’s needs and goals
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in a one-on-one setting
- Fine motor skills (grasping, handwriting, coordination)
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Activities of daily living (dressing, feeding, grooming)
- Visual-motor and visual-perceptual skills
- Play skills and social participation
- Modify and grade activities to meet each child’s developmental level
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
- Experience in outpatient pediatric occupational therapy is required
Upon Hire:
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Kansas
- Completion of required background checks
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical skills in evaluating and treating pediatric populations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
