Duties
- Supervise and engage with adolescents in residential settings, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement behavioral management strategies to promote positive conduct and conflict resolution among residents
- Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques and emergency response protocols
- Assist with intake procedures, including data collection, documentation, and filing of resident information
- Support families through communication and case management efforts, fostering collaborative relationships
- Administer medication following prescribed protocols and maintain accurate medication records
- Participate in training on child development, ukeru techniques, handle with care, verbal de-escalation, first aid, and security procedures to enhance service delivery
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience working with youth or high-risk populations in residential or community settings
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with teens, families, staff, and external agencies
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and conflict management strategies
- Experience with behavioral health support, and working with individuals with mental health conditions
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and administer first aid or CPR when needed (we will provide training)
- Familiarity with data entry, filing, data collection, and documentation processes
- Medication administration preferred but not required; training provided if necessary

Pay: $16.00 - $19.25 per hour
