We are a growing event and entertainment rental company based in Harrisonburg, Virginia, looking for dependable, energetic, hard-working individuals to join our team as Event Staff & Delivery Drivers.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where no two days are exactly the same. Our team delivers, installs, operates, and removes entertainment attractions for corporate events, schools, colleges, festivals, churches, private parties, community events, and more.

Our inventory includes inflatables, portable mini golf, dunk tanks, interactive games, tents, photo booths, foam parties, pool tables, and other specialty entertainment attractions.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work, show up on time, work well with a team, pay attention to details, and provide excellent service to our customers.

Position Overview

Under the direction of an Event Supervisor or Production Lead, Event Staff & Delivery Drivers are responsible for the safe and timely delivery, setup, operation, breakdown, and return of event rental equipment.

Depending on the event, you may:

• Load equipment at our warehouse
• Drive company trucks, vans, or trucks with trailers
• Deliver equipment to customer locations
• Install and safely set up attractions
• Operate and supervise attractions during staffed events
• Interact with guests and customers
• Break down equipment after events
• Reload trucks and trailers
• Return equipment to the warehouse
• Unload, organize, and return equipment to inventory

This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review event paperwork, load lists, and equipment requirements before departure
• Pull and load attractions and related equipment with warehouse support
• Verify all required equipment and accessories are loaded before leaving the warehouse
• Load trucks and trailers in the proper order for efficient deliveries
• Properly secure equipment for safe transportation
• Safely operate company vehicles while transporting equipment
• Deliver rental equipment to homes, businesses, schools, venues, and event locations
• Professionally greet and communicate with customers and venue representatives
• Safely unload and install event attractions according to company and manufacturer procedures
• Properly secure inflatables, tents, games, and other equipment
• Coordinate with Event Supervisors and Production Leads regarding event-site logistics
• Follow event layouts, instructions, and customer requirements
• Attentively operate or supervise rental attractions during staffed events
• Maintain a fun, professional, and energetic attitude when interacting with event guests
• Break down attractions and equipment at the conclusion of events
• Verify all equipment and accessories are accounted for before leaving an event
• Properly reload trucks and trailers at customer locations
• Return equipment to the warehouse and assist with unloading
• Return rental equipment and accessories to their designated inventory locations
• Immediately report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment
• Assist with warehouse organization, equipment cleaning, maintenance, and preparation as needed
• Attend required company meetings, safety training, and employee training
• Assist in other areas of operations when needed

• Valid driver's license
• Ability and willingness to safely operate company vehicles
• Ability to pass applicable background screening and drug testing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Full range of motion and physical dexterity necessary to perform event setups and breakdowns

Experience driving trucks and/or pulling trailers is highly preferred.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This is a physical, hands-on position and is not a desk job.

Team members must be comfortable:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment
• Bending, reaching, kneeling, and performing repetitive physical tasks
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Working around the general public and event guests
• Working in a fast-paced environment with scheduled delivery and pickup times
• Working evenings and weekends when events require it

Employees may occasionally work around gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, cleaning products, and other materials commonly used in event rental operations.
