Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain floors through buffing, scrubbing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance.
- Assist with tasks such as reporting minor or larger issues to the appropriate team members.
- Use industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to clean sales floor and cafe’ area hallways, between registers and other designated areas.
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus.
